Light is like a building
The walls are singing
No more snowflake rain
Light is like a groove in the body
But then when the night comes
The dark is okay
Always drive a Lesney
It’s in my pocket
No more parking change
Fun is like a mood when it’s sunny
Fuck, when the flame comes
It’s always insane
Karma’s like a sunroof
You see the weather
Spinning what you made
Light is like a flute in a glade
But then when the night comes
Guitars will be made

Reminds me a lot of Court and Spark and Ladies of the Canyon era Joni. The synths and vocal chops of Kleinmeister, but the solitude of Rendezvous with Rama. I find it easy to describe in terms of other things but hard to describe the emotions that it makes me feel! These summer-y odes to that seem to be directed to a teenage New Englander really resonate with me, an almost not-teenage New Englander, two decades later, but I think anyone could see themselves in these songs! mickyfitz808
